Warren Herman Ahrens, son of Herman G. and Anna Boettcher Ahrens, was born January 30, 1921 in rural Wilton, Iowa. Warren attended school in rural Bennett while growing up. Warren was a farmer and drove a truck for a living. He enjoyed raising and showing Black Angus cattle. Warren was united in marriage to Edna M. Dallege on December 18, 1940 in Tipton, Iowa. He was a member of the Lions Club, Farm Bureau and the National Farmers Organization. Warren is survived by his daughter, Linda Lou Licht and husband, Jeffrey of Lowden, Iowa; son, Ronald Warren Ahrens and wife, Sally of Tipton, Iowa; grandchildren, Alicia Denman of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Kimberly Watkins of Pendleton, Oregon, Brian Ahrens of Marion, Iowa, Tracy Rathert of Phoenix, Arizona dnd Megan Fischer of Davenport, Iowa; and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Anna Ahrens; and brothers, Milo Ahrens and Wayne Ahrens.
