REID COMPTON, 79, Indianapolis, died Wednesday. Mr. Compton was a routeman for Morgan Linen Co., retiring in 1978. He was a Marine veteran of World War II. He was a member of North Eastwood Christian Church. Services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday in Shirley Brothers Irving Hill Chapel, with calling from 10 a.m. Burial will be in Lincoln Memory Gardens. Survivors: wife Agnes Lessenberry Compton: son Richard C. Compton: daughters Patricia Boller, Elizabeth Hamilton: sisters Frances Stout [sic] [recte Street], Thelma Redford, Estelle McAdams: brother Delbert Compton; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
