Sadie Nell Ward Pflueger, age 82, passed away quietly at her home May 11, 2016.
Born August 17, 1933, in Buchanan, she was the daughter of the late John C. Ward and the late Lille Mae Patterson Ward.
She was a member of Maplewood Baptist Church, and formerly worked at The Parisian newspaper, Chesemore Clinic, Holley Carburetor Plant, and Higgs and Matthews in Paris. Many people will remember her as a smiling, friendly face in the Kroger Deli, where she worked until her retirement in 2011. Ms. Pflueger enjoyed playing music, singing, dancing, and most of all, her family. She also enjoyed supporting the Helping Hands Radio Auction and providing food for her church’s benevolent ministry.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday, May 13, 2016, and from 9-10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 14, 2016. The Funeral Service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 14, 2016
Interment will follow in Memorial Cemetery.
