Mrs. Arlene A. Olsen, a longtime resident of Wilber Township, went to her heavenly rest on Monday, May 9, 2016, at the venerable age of 93 years 9 months and 9 days. The family is grateful to Michelle and her staff at Sylvester Assisted Living, Linwood, for the loving care they provided Arlene.
Arlene, the daughter of Arnold and Augusta Anschuetz, was born July 30, 1922, in Iosco County, Michigan.
On June 8, 1940, Miss Arlene A. Anschuetz was united in marriage with Mr. B. William Olsen. He passed away in 2007.
Arlene served Iosco County as Deputy Register of Deeds after which she was co-owner of Landmark Title Insurance Co. She then went on to Century 21 where she was a broker for many years.
Arlene was a lifelong member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in Tawas City.

Funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 14, 2016, at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Tawas City. Pastor Andrew Frey will officiate. Visitation will precede the service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
Interment will follow in Emanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
