Redkey, Ind.--Daniel R. Barnell, 84, retired, stationary engineer for the Pennsylvania Railroad 56 years, died at 10 a.m. Sunday at the IOOF Home in Greensburg, where he was taken Wednesday.
Mr. Barness operated the railroad pump station for the railroad. He was a member of Albany, Odd Fellows Lodge.
Surviving is a son, Ward of Winchester.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Jones Mortuary here by the Rev. Lester Sommers. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary after 2 p.m. Monday.
