Richard L. Bozworth Sr., 66, Nevada, Mo., passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2016, at Nevada Regional Medical Center. He was born on July 22, 1949, in Kansas City, Kan. He married Linda S. Cartwright on July 3, 1970, in Nevada, and she survives of the home.
Richard came to Deerfield, Mo., at the age of 3 to live with his adoptive parents, Henry and Inez Bozworth. He worked for a number of years for Montgomery Ward, 14 years for Kapple's Plumbing and Heating, and 16 years and for Spring Village, all in Nevada, until his retirement in 2011. Since his retirement he has worked as a driver for the MNA Railroad crew.
In addition to his wife, Linda, he is survived by three daughters, Debra Wolfe, Nevada, Lesa Bozworth, Nevada, and Tanja Pike, El Dorado Springs, Mo.; one son, Richard Bozworth Jr. and his wife, Pam, Nevada. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside services will be at Moore Cemetery.
