Anthony F. "Tony" Boscaino, 77, of Mt. Bethel, PA, passed away Saturday, May 7th, at his residence. Tony was born in Brooklyn, NY on April 2, 1939, a son of the late Lorenzo and Lucille (Ferrara) Boscaino. He was the husband of Helen (Pike) Boscaino. They celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary last June.

Tony was the owner and operator of Boscaino's Construction and Repair, Inc. in Mt. Bethel, PA. Prior to operating his own business, Tony was employed at the former Marquette in Bangor and for his families dry cleaning business in East Stroudsburg, PA. He was a 1956 graduate of Boys High School in Brooklyn, NY. After graduating, Tony served 4 years in the National Guard. Tony was an avid hunter and enjoyed spending time with this family and his favorite four legged buddy, Spike. Tony had a larger than life personality. He left an impression wherever he went and everyone knew him by name. Tony's heart was as big as his personality. He was always willing to give a friend a hand or even a stranger.

In addition to his wife, Helen, Tony is survived by a daughter, Melissa Couch and her husband Larry, a sister, Marietta DeRea, nephew Fred DeRea, Jr. and his wife Sheila, niece Michele Racciato and her husband Philip, nephew David DeRea and and his wife Cristie, 2 great nephews Philip and Michael Racciato and 1 great niece Alena DeRea.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, May 13th at the Gaffney Parsons Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 4 Lillian Lane, "Village of Johnsonville", Bangor, PA with Rev. David Felker officiating. Burial will be held at the East Bangor Cemetery, East Bangor, PA.
