Jimmy Glen Etier, Sr, passed away Friday, May 6, 2016 in Duncan. He was 71.

Jimmy was born Friday, February 2, 1945 in Marlow to Clarence and Maurine (Sumrell) Eiter. He graduated from Marlow High School. Jimmy married Margaret May on January 10, 1969 in Duncan. He worked as a Pipeline Inspector for Koch Oil for 30 years and then continued working for Rush Creek Trucking for another 10 years. He had made Duncan his home for more than 50 years. Jimmy proudly served his country as a member of the US Army and he was a Veteran of the Vietnam War. His hobbies included model cars and motorcycles. Jimmy was a dedicated husband and father, he will be greatly missed. He was a member of the Stephens United Methodist Church in Duncan.

Jimmy was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Riley, a great-granddaughter, Kellany Berry and a niece, Brenda Riley.

Graveside Services ~ Tuesday, May 10, 2016, with Rev Lynn Richardson officiating. Burial was in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.
