December 29, 1927 - May 6, 2016 Lois Dobson, 88, of Mobile, went to be with the Lord on May 6, 2016.

Mrs. Dobson was a devout Christian and prayer warrior, and was instrumental in starting the prayer room at Cottage Hill Baptist Church. Along with her devotion to the Lord, Lois was an avid gardener and bird watcher, generously sharing her love for nature with family and friends. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, who always put her family first.

Lois was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Norman Dobson; her parents, Glenn and Ethel Deese; one sister; and two brothers.

She is survived by her daughter, Diane Dobson, and grandsons, Eric Jamison and Scott (Matti) Jamison. The family would like to thank her longtime caregiver, Jewel Wilson, as well as Dee Dee, Donna, Fran and Michelle of Dee Dee's Nursing Service.

Visitation for Mrs. Dobson will be Monday, May 9, 2016 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Radney Funeral Home in Mobile. Services will begin at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with interment to follow at Pine Crest Cemetery.
