He is survived by his mother, Melleane (Dee Dee) Simmons-Conyers; father, Emerson Cooley, Sr. of Anderson, SC; sister, Heather; brother, Emerson, Jr.; girlfriend, Mia Garrett; grandfather, Robert Simmons, Sr.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Monday, October 2 from 10-11 AM at the Ollie Robinson Brown Memorial Chapel of Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Gardens.
