He was preceded in death by his father, Abelino Naranjo, Sr.; mother, Leonor J. Naranjo; wife, Aurora V. Naranjo; brothers, Ruben Naranjo, Julio Naranjo, Inez Naranjo, Eduardo Naranjo, Juan Naranjo, Salome Naranjo, and Jose Naranjo; and sisters, Esmeralda N. Quintanilla, and Julia Garza.
Survivors include three sons, Arnoldo Naranjo, Rolando (Thelma) Naranjo, and Armando Naranjo; three daughters, Diana Naranjo, Leonor (Joe) N. De La Rosa, and Lee Ann (Alex) N. Pereida; grandchildren, Yvonne, Ruben, and B.J. Vasquez, Veronica and Eric Naranjo, Ashley, Joey, and Michele De La Rosa, Mandy, Miranda, and Amanda Naranjo, and Alex, Jr., Tiffany, and Haven Pereida; and sixteen great-grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, June 12, 2015, at 10 a.m. at New Collins Cemetery in Alice, Texas.
