Obituary for Dolores V. Dadds Motichka
Dolores V. Dadds Motichka of Centreville, MD (75) left this world to be with her Lord and parents on Friday July 22, 2011 at the Hospice of Queen Anne’s County surrounded by her loving family. She graduated from Centreville High School class of 1953. Dolores married Bernard Motichka in1990. During her career she worked as a secretary for McCrone Engineering and Dr. Ciganek. She was the 1st president of the Centreville Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She was also a member of Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church.
Dolores, Dee, “Nana” or Aunt Sis as she was known by her family and friends was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard F. Dadds and Mary Louise Dadds. She is survived by her husband Bernard W. Motichka, three children, Cindy J. Dixon, Billie Sue Bryant and Valerie L. Dixon; five step children, Larry B. Dixon (Nancy), Lynn M. Galitzin (Michae), Karen Motichka, Eve M. Motichka (Harry Lloyd) and Janis Motichka (Jon Draper);three brothers and one sister, Bernard A. Dadds (Ann), Donald A. Dadds, Patsy D Mock (Sterl) and Clayton “Butch” L. Dadds (Bev); fifteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
A visitation will be from 6-8 PM on Monday July 25, 2011 at Fellows, Helfenbein and Newnam Funeral Home, P. A. 408 S. Liberty St, Centreville, MD. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Tuesday July 26, 2011 at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, 303 Chesterfield Ave, Centreville, MD.
Burial will be in St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery 5319 Ocean Gateway, Queenstown, MD.
