Graveside funeral services for Young C. Alexander who died Thursday at McAlester Regional Hospital will be Friday 9 a.m. at Oakhill Cemetery. Military Honors will be performed by the VFW of McAlester under the direction of Chaney's Funeral Home of McAlester. Mr. Alexander, 95, was retired from the military. He was a life member of the VFW. He was a veteran of WWII having served in the U. S. Army. He was born Aug. 5, 1897 in Lenis, Ga. He and Lillie Stockstill were married February 22, 1977 in McAlester. He is survived by his wife.
