He was a farmer. Lived on Boardman Farm on the south-easterly side of Giddings Creek. Then lived on a farm near Heartbreak Hill formerly owned by Theodore Andrews. Henry and his wife were buried in one grave since they died only two days apart.
Henry was the eldest child of Henry and Sarah (Newmatch) Spiller.
