Spencer- Phillip "Bill" Allgood, 74, of Spencer, died Wednesday at Bloomington Hospital.
Born Jan. 23, 1927, in Blooomington, he was the son of Clarence and Mabel Vanskill Ragsdale Allgood.
He retired from RCA. He was a member of the Catholic Church and a past governor and member of the Moose Lodge in Bloomington.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Webb Allgood of Spencer; his sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth Allgood, Paul and Jenny Price Allgood, all of Salem, and Michael and Karla Hendershot Allgood of Spencer; five brothers, Raymond Allgood, Jimmy Allgood and Joe Allgood, all of Bloomington, Frank Allgood of Madison and Charles Allgood of Jasonville; two sisters, Nancy Moore and Doris Holler, both of Bloomington; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, John Allgood.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home in Spencer, with Father Don Davidson officiating. Burial will be at Chambersville Cemetery. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. today from 8:30 a.m. until services Friday ah the funeral home. Moose Memorial services will be conducted at 7 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.
