Peggy Lou Roberts, 89, of Fremont, passed away April 30, 2016 at Valley View Healthcare Center. She was born April 27, 1927 to I.K. and Mildred (Braden) Aldrich in Fremont. Peggy graduated from Ross High School in 1945, and married Clyde E. Roberts Jr. November 12, 1948. She had various secretarial positions, and retired working as the secretary for Kessler Sales Corporation in Fremont. Peggy is survived by her children, Todd (Rita) Roberts of Willard, Ohio and Kathie (Michael) Geib, of Helena, Ohio, grandchildren, Drue E. (Betsy) Roberts of Granville, OH, Erin K. (Wendell) Slone of Willard, OH, Tyson F. (Jessica) Geib, Seth E. (Rebecca) Geib, both of Perrysburg, OH, and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde, August 10, 2001, mother, Mildred, March 5, 1980, father, I.K., October 15, 1987, and brother, Robert Aldrich in 1965. Peggy's family would like to acknowledge her caregivers, Donna and Richard Norris, and Rick McKinley, for all of their wonderful care and love over the past 3 and a half years. They would also like to thank ProMedica Hospice for their care as well. Graveside services for Peggy will take place at 11am, May 6, 2016 at Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to her family.
