The name of Elliott Holliday's first wife is unknown at this time. She died before he remarried to Sarah "Sally" Davis on 5 Oct 1830 in Montgomery Co., IL.

Elliott and his first wife had at least 2 known children: Elliott, Jr., and Mary Ann who married John Wilson Garrison.

Elliott lived in Montgomery County from at least 1825 until his death in 1833. He is probably buried in the Kirkland Cemetery in an unmarked grave where several of his descendants are buried. The Kirkland Cemetery was established in 1800, making this very likely.

After Elliott's death, his widow Sarah married Gilbert Watson on 25 Dec 1834 in Montgomery Co., IL.
