"As I have some time ago made a Deed to my son Ben Hodges for one hundred acres of Land which has been Laid off (since his death) out of the tract of land I live on. And likewise a Deed to my son William Hodges for one hundred Acres of land which his also been laid off out of the said tract, and for fear, them Deeds should be deficient, I give and bequeath the said one hundred Acres of Land as it is laid off to my said son Benjamin Hodges and his heirs forever and I likewise give and bequeath unto my son William Hodges the said one hundred Acres of Land as it is laid off to him and his heirs forever.
"I give abs bequeath unto my son Jeße (sic. Jesse) Hodges the rest of the tract of the land I live on which is all the land I have in my poßestion (sic. possession) to him and his heirs forever with this provision that my beloved wife Ann Hodges if she chooses, shall live on the said land as long as she lives, or makes use of it towards supporting her. I give and bequeath all my stock of Horses, Cows, hogs, and every other kind, all my household furniture of every kind and whatever at the decease of my said wife Ann Hodges to be Equally divided between my three Daughters Ursaly Hodges, Ann Hodges and Susanna Hodges and their heirs forever. And it is my Will desire that my said wife Ann Hodges shall keep all the above mentioned. Rock(?) of every kind, and all the said household furniture as long as she lives and make use of them as she shall see cause towards her support and maintanance (sic).
Lastly I constitute and appoint my two sons William Hodges and Jeße (sic. Jesse) Hodges to be Executors of this my Last Will and Testament revoking all other wills heretofore made, as Witneß (sic. witness) my hand and seal this twenty eight day of December one thousand seven hundred and seventy one."
