ADKINS, Charles Lowell, 82, of Buchanan, died Friday, January 17, 1997. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Kate Vaughn Adkins; daughters and sons-in-law, Jane and Chuck Crall, Virginia Beach, Elain e and Jim Wymer, Roanoke; son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Dot Adkins, Roanoke; five grandchildren, Leigh Wymer Beard, Jennifer Wymer, Mike Crall, Meg Crall, Kim Adkins; four great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, John Abe and Alphia Adkins, Elberon; sister-in-law, Mrs. Esther Adkins, Buchanan; brother-in-law, Randolph Millner, Mobile, Ala. Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 19, 1997 at 2:00 p.m. in the Buchanan Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Woody officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Buchanan. Those wishing to make a contribution, please consider the Buchanan Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 244, Buchanan, Va. 24066. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday at Botetourt Funeral Home, 1046 Main Street, Buchanan.
