Berry Daniel Burton, Dayton, Ohio, died Sunday at his home after an illness of three years.

He was born in Nancy on November 27, 1910, the son of James and Minnie Burton, both deceased.

He married the former Irene Taylor in 1947 in Cincinnati, Ohio, and she survives.

Other survivors include three children, William Burton and Paul David Burton, both of Cincinnati, Ohio, and James Daniel Burton, United States Navy; three brothers, Esker Burton, Dayton, Ohio, William Burton, Springboro, Ohio, and Harry B. Burton, Champaign, Illinois; two sisters, Essie Pearl Brewster, Dayton, Ohio and Nannie Isbell, Cisco, Illinois.

He was employed by General Motors and was a member of the First Baptist Church of West Carrollton, Ohio.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Okalona Baptist Church with Rev. Noel Dodson officiating.

Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery.

Somerset Undertaking Company was in charge of the funeral arrangements.

Berry D. Burton, age 63, of Trailon Road, Moraine, died Sunday a.m. at his residence following a long illness. A native of Nancy, Kentucky, Mr. Burton was a retired employee of Delco Moraine, a Veteran of WWII, and a member of the 1st Baptist Church. Survivors include 3 sons, James with the U.S. Navy, and William and Paul, both of Moraine; 3 brothers, William of Springboro, Esker L. of Dayton, and Harry B. of Champaign, Illinois; 3 sisters, Essie Brewster of Dayton, Nannie Isbell of Cisco, Illinois, and Thelma McClellan of Champaign, Illinois. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m Wednesday from the Okalona Baptist Church, Pulaski County, Kentucky. Burial at Fairview Cemetery, Nancy, Kentucky. Friends may call at the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton, from 5 to 9 p.m., Monday, and at the Somerset Undertaking Company, Somerset, Kentucky, from 5 to 9 p.m., Tuesday.
