Charlotte Munson, 89, of Oglesby passed away April 27, 2016, in her home surrounded by her loving family.
Service will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Dysart-Cofoid Funeral Chapel, Granville. The Rev. Mark Nowakowski will officiate. Burial will be at Friends Cemetery, McNabb.
Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home.
Charlotte was born May 8, 1926, in Peru to Amos and Marjorie (Bangs) Ryan. She married Raymond Munson on June 7, 1953, in Lostant Methodist Church.
She attended La Salle-Peru-Oglesby Junior College and received her degree in education at the University of Memphis. Charlotte was a third-grade teacher for Putnam County schools for 36 years.
Survivors include one niece, Lynn (Lee) Perry of Oglesby; and two great-nieces, Nichole (William) Kroncke and Michelle (Michael) Wolf.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond on July 27, 1987; two sisters, Gail Kregor on March 10, 1980 and Betty Phillips on Jan. 3, 1991; and one nephew, Clayton Kregor.
Pallbearers will be Mike Wolf, William Kroncke, John Patyk, Syl Janusick, David Forbes, and Greg Glenn. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Wolf and Hailey Wolf.
