Frances Pauline Fields, 86, of Center Point, passed away April 28, 2016, at Union Hospital. Pauline was born Jan. 24, 1930, in Bloomfield, the daughter of the late Paul and Lucy (Trimmer) Bucher.
She graduated from Bloomfield High School in 1948. Pauline married the love of her life, Herbert Fields Jr., on July 20, 1953. Together they raised their three children, Don and Gary Fields and Brenda (Fields) French. When she wasn't busy keeping up with her family she enjoyed canning green beans and tomatoes. She loved going to Pizza City, in Terre Haute, to listen to Blue Grass Music with her husband. Pauline was the matriarch of her family and will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Gary Fields; sister Mary Katherine Bryan Fiscus; and brother-in-law, Bernard Bryan.
Pauline is survived by her husband of almost 63 years, Herbert Feilds Jr.
