Carol Ann Ainey, 81, of New Milford, PA was called home to be with the Lord on April 15, 2016 and was reunited with her husband, Richard, who predeceased her in 1983. She is also predeceased by her father Lee Augustus Dobson; her mother, Ethna Francis Williams Dobson; and a sister, Joyce Emmons. Carol is survived by her son, John K. Ainey and his wife Gloria Ainey; her daughter, Diane Ainey; four grandchildren, John, Joshua, Melissa Ainey and Chad Ainey; a sister, Marilyn Landes; and a brother, Alan Dobson. Carol was born and raised in Verona, N.J.. After high school, she attended college to become a Medical Secretary. She worked as a Medical Secretary until she married Richard on June 29, 1957 and moved to Pennsylvania. Carol was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved spending time at her family's cottage on East Lake. Carol will always be remembered for her lifelong love of all animals, especially cats. Carol's family would like to extend a special thank you to Allied Services SNF and especially the staff on the fourth floor for their outstanding care and compassion. A graveside service will be held at New Milford Cemetery. At Carol's request, there will be no public viewing. Arrangements are under the direction of the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Inc., Hallstead.
