Andrew P. Forlines went home to be with the Father on May 16, 2006 after a sudden illness. Father – Grandfather – Great Grandfather was born July 10, 1921 in Jovamah, Arkansas, one of 23 children. Mr. Forlines served in the United States Army during the Second World War. He made his home in Santa Paula for over 40 years, and was the original namesake as owner/operator of Andy’s Plumbing Place for over 25 years. Upon retiring and selling his business to his daughter Valerie Lagesse, he moved to Ventura and spent his days playing pool and dancing with his wife of 48 years, Caroline Forlines. Together they raised seven children as two families became one.He was preceded in death by 21 brothers and sisters and son, Jay Forlines. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Forlines; children, Joe and wife Cheryl Forlines of Georgia, Jane and husband Joe Solano of Las Vegas, Bill and wife Lanna of San Jose, Connie Latham, Deborah and husband Steve Biggerstaff of Pittsburg, and Valerie and husband David Lagesse of Santa Paula; sister Mary Vann of Nevada; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at Ventura Missionary Church in the Fireside Room on Saturday, May 27 at 2 p.m. The church is located at 500 High Point, Ventura, phone 642-0550.
