Jack Wimberly

Jack passed away at his home following a short illness.

Son of:
Marvin Thomas and Ruby Pearl (McAlister) Wimberly

He as a retired carpenter and member of Blue Spring Missionary Baptist Church.

Military:
He served his country honorably and was a veteran of the Korean War.

Survivors:
His companion: Nadine Hobbs; one son: Kerry Wimberly; two daughters: Kathy Wimberly and Karen Lewis; four step children: Danny Hobbs, Donna Hobbs, Toni Leah Jones and Kayte Hobbs; fourteen grandchildren: one great grandson; three sisters: Linda Milstead, Ginny Travis and Tootsie Slaton; and many extended family members and friends.

Predeceased by:
His parents; two sisters: Mildred Oliver and Sara Wimberly; and two brothers: Norris Wimberly and Bud Wimberly.

Services:
Graveside services held Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 2:30 PM under direction of Morgan Funeral Home.
