Mr. Knut W. Alquist, Jr., age 86, passed away April 25, 2016 in Clarksdale, MS. The Family will receive friends at a catered reception, Thursday, April 28, 2016 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm followed by the service at 2:00 pm at National Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Barbee Cemetery.
Mr. Alquist, a U. S. Army Veteran, retired after twenty years of Service. Mr. Alquist was a member of Lula United Methodist Church. He is survived by his daughter, Brigitte (Glenn) Shannon of Glendale, AZ; his stepdaughter, Kay Kirksey of Coahoma, MS and two grandchildren, Paul and Ryan and two great grandchildren, Andel and Corbin of Phoenix, AZ. Mr. Alquist, Jr. was preceded in death by his wife, Gwen Alquist and his first wife, Paula Alquist.
