She was the daughter of William Leo and Florence G. Brumleve, nee Kettler. Her family consisted of 11 brothers and 2 sisters of which all have passed. She met and married John Jay Mason in Princeton Indiana on December 13, 1932. To them were born seven children; Janet Karrer, John Wm. James Robert, George Richard, Mary (Susie) Winters, Richard J. and Aleen (Dolly) Meyer. George Richard preceeded her in death.
