Vols.3&4 p.540 - Solomon Blair. Committed by Geo. B. Keys Judge of Tuolumne June 11th 1866. Age 37 years; native of Tennessee; single; was last from Texas; has been in this State 14 years. The evidence of insanity is his general behavior and conversation. He is of a homicidal disposition. This is an old case (has been in this Asylum before see Commitment No.1213 Book B page 167) and has shown frequent symptoms of insanity ever since he left the Asylum; disease increasing having shot a man on yesterday without provocation. He has rational intervals but is easily excited with no regularity; has no hallucination; is not suicidal; is neither filthy no9r destructive; has no i8nsane relations; has been temperate. He received an injury on the head and since his insanity, masturbation. Admitted June 22nd 1866. Has no property. Died Jan'y 12, 1912 of cardiac arterio-sclerosis. Contrib: general arterio sclerosis and old age.
