WILLIAM JEFFERSON STEWART was born on 10 August 1863 in Georgia.

William married Frances Elizabeth "Lizzie" Stewart on 22 December 1904 in Jones County, Georgia, and they had THREE children that are known of:

Augustus Pitts Stewart (1907-1990),
James Polk Farrar Stewart (1909-1957), and
Frances Elizabeth Stewart (1913-?).

William passed away on 10 August 1863 in Haddock, Jones County, Georgia, and he was laid to rest at Fortville Cemetery, Fortville, Jones Co, Georgia.
