William G. "Bill" Alverson, Jr. died Friday, April 1, 1995 in Wallace Thomson Hopital following a sudden illness. Native of Union County, SC and son of the late William G. Alverson, Sr. and Coleene Bishop Alverson. Member of the First Baptist Church and a U. S. Army World War II Veteran. Retired Postal Service employee and a part time, life long cattleman. Survivors included: two sons; one brother; one granddaughter; three grandsons. He was 74 years of age at his demise and interment was in the Union Memorial Gardens.
