Mr. Baldwin was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Baldwin, born on a farm southwest of Galesburg May 8, 1895. He worked on his father's farm opposite People's Traction Power House.
He was a member of old Co. C and left with them at the outbreak of war. On account of his health, he was honorably discharged.
Funeral service took place at the home, with Rev. N.T. Allen officiating. Burial in Linwood Cemetery.
