Beulah Boelling, 91
Beulah Boelling, 91, of Creston, died Saturday June 25, 2005 at Greater Community Hospital in Creston. Services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday June 29, 2005 at the First United Methodist Church in Creston. Pastor Clark Finehout will officiate. Interment will be at Graceland Cemetery of Creston. Open visitation from 1 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Powers Funeral Home 601 New York Ave. Creston. Family will receive friends from 1 pm until service time Wednesday at the church. Memorials are to be established.
Beulah Boelling was born September 25, 1913, in Page County to Hannah Elizabeth (Head) and Bell Ridnour. She was educated in the Clarinda High School. On July 27, 1931 Beulah was united in marriage to Paul Edwin Boelling in Maryville, Mo. After marrying, they first farmed in Page County, before settling and farming in Adams County. She was a homemaker and farmwife. They retired in 1975, and moved into Creston. Beulah was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Creston and the Afternoon Circle.
Beulah is survived by two daughters, Betty Jean Smith of Lenox and Barbara Hill of Littleton, Co.; 6 grandchildren, Jace (wife Maybritt) Smith, Kim (husband Douglas) Dingeman, Brenda (husband Tracy) Robison, Blasé Smith, Teri (husband Steve) Ebert and Paul (wife Vivian) Hill; eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Paul in 2003, son-in-law, Gary Smith, four brothers and four sisters.
