Doris Storey, 79, of Pinewood, died Monday, May 23, 2011, at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center in Houston. A native of Grady County, Georgia, she was born July 8, 1931. She was the ultimate Army wife, having lived the military life with her husband, Billie, as they and their family were stationed in a variety of posts including Austria, Germany, and numerous places in the United States. Survivors include her husband of sixty years, Billie Storey of Pinewood; sons, Doug Storey and his wife, Karen of Houston, and Greg Storey of Lufkin; grandchildren, Jacob Storey, Connor Storey, Dustin Storey, Carly Storey, Lacy Storey, and Josh Storey; three great- grandchildren; brothers, Clyde Shores of Florida, Anderson Shores of Georgia, and Dean Rowe of South Carolina; and sisters, Francis Folgum of Georgia, and Bobbie Zaleski of Pennsylvania. She is preceded in death by her brother, Charles Shores. Her memorial service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 27, 2011, at Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A family committal was held at Broussard's Crematorium. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society , P. O.
