Martha Callaway, b. Aug 28, 18—(date missing; the editor assumes this is her place in the sequence), m. (1) Nathan Miles and lived on a farm near Smithfield Ky, where her four children were born; she then kept a select boarding house at Eminence, Ky, and then m. (2) Benjamin Duerson and moved to La Grange, he died in two or three years and later she m. (3) Linton Snapp, back tax collector for Louisville for twenty years; he resigned and they went to a farm near Boonville Mo, where he died and she moved to Sedalia (with son John) and there died.
