Mrs. Bonnie Allen Strozzo, age 83, died Tuesday April 19, 2016 at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro. Bonnie was born September 7th, 1932 in Statesboro, GA.

She worked at American Optical for many years before settling down as a homemaker. Bonnie was an active member of the Coffee Bluff Marine Rescue Squadron 2-A in Savannah, GA. Bonnie lived in Savannah, GA most of her married life and also had a home on the family farm in Brooklet, GA where she and Tony spent much of their time. Bonnie attended St. Matthews Catholic church in Statesboro. Bonnie was a loving and generous person. She loved her family too much, always wanting the best for all. She will be missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James W. and Ruby Allen; her husband of 57 years, Tony Strozzo, two brothers, Bennett (Margie) Allen and Alvin “Al” Allen, and great-granddaughter Ashlynn Maria Cowart.

Surviving are her daughter and son in law, Maria and Paul LeFebvre of Brooklet, three grandchildren, Anthony (Marianne) LeFebvre of Brooklet, Laura Cowart and her fiancé Brandon Cleary of Port Wentworth, and Jennifer Sapp of Brooklet, great-grandchildren Emily and Charlie LeFebvre, and Abbie and Andrew Cowart, and Braelynn Sapp, step-great-grandchildren, Matthew Dunnigen, Jordan Miles, Caleb, Ethan, and Delaney Cleary.

A Visitation and Vigil will be Thursday, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm in the Chapel of Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home in Statesboro.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 10:00am at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Statesboro with Father Doug Clark officiating. Interment will follow at Eastside Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Bret Allen, Butch Dinitto, Paul Dinitto, Tim Strozzo, Benny Strozzo, and Anthony LeFebvre.
The family request that memorial contributions be made to Ogeechee Area Hospice, PO Box 531, Statesboro, GA 30459 or to the Marine Rescue Squadron at 14915 Coffee Bluff Rd., Savannah, GA 31419.
