Evelyn Louise Smith 93 died Monday October 9, 2006. Funeral Mass will be 9:00 AM Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 110 N. Jefferson St. with Father Michael McWhorter officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Park in Sandy Springs, GA.
Mrs. Smith was a native of Louisville, KY and moved to Marietta, GA in 1988. She was retired from L & N Railroad with 35 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents Albert C. and Lena Burchart Schwab and grandchildren Tim, Janine and Russ. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Survivors include her daughter Irma Jean Chirico and husband Mike of Eatonton, a sister Irma King of Louisville, KY.
