Bessie Easterling Spell of Pascagoula went to be with Jesus on Feb. 14, 2005. She was a resident of the Plaze Nursing Home in Pascagoula. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Jones County. Her grandson, the Rev. Louis Posey will officiate. Mrs. Spell was preceded in death by her husband, Carl L. Spell. Mrs. Spell is survived by her daughter, Faye Posey of Pascagoula; her grandsons, Louis Posey of Grand Bay, Ala. and Tommy Posey of Agricola; five great-grandchildren, Heather, Holly, Lee, Alexandria and Victoria; and her great-great-grandchildren, Brandon and Elisha. Memorials may be made to Grand Bay church of God, Orphanage Fund, 14282 Old Pascagoula Rd., Grand Bay, AL 36541. Memory Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel is in charge of arrangements.
