Howard K. Wathen
Howard K. Wathen, 90, formerly of Jesup, died Saturday, March 29, 1997 in the West Village Care Center following a short illness. His body has been donated for medical research at the University of Iowa. Private memorial services will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation. Reiff Funeral Home, Independence, is in charge of arrangements.
Also surviving are 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson.
