Clayton Billups, 67 of Ridgeway, Missouri, died May 16, 2002 at the home.
Mr. Billups was born in Blythedale, Missouri on Feb. 1, 1935, the son of Doral and Elma (Matson) Billups. He married Lorie Elliott on Dec. 2, 1975 and she survives of the home. He was a farmer and heavy equipment operator. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Ridgeway.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
In addition to his wife, he leaves a daughter, Sherry Bazzard of Blackduck, Minnesota; three sons, Donnie Billups of Hollister, California, Levon Billups of Aptos, California, and Larry Billups of Santa Cruz, California; a step-son, Jeff Gartner of Santa Cruz, California; one brother, James Billups of Ridgeway, Missouri; one sister, Bonnie Simpson of Wadesboro, North Carolina; two grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held May 21, 2002 at the Robertson Funeral Home in Bethany. Burial was in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Ridgeway.
