FORMER COUNTY ASSESSOR WILBUR FALLOON, 62, DIES.
Wilbur John Falloon died at his home, on NE Fremont Ct., early Thursday.
He was stricken with multiple sclerosis in 1952 and had been bedridden for about 6 1/2 years, succumbing to a form of cancer called melanoma.
Mr. Falloon was born 23 May 1905 in Pembina, North Dakota.
Wilbur's family had moved from Canada to the USA and back to Canada.
He was interested in dentistry, property management, became an appraiser, realtor and property manager, was named a vice president of the First National Bank in the trust department.
He attended the University of Saskatchewan, the Oregon Institute of Technology and later the American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers at the University of California.
Wilbur married Gold Adams in 1927.
Survived by wife, Golda, a daughter, Nancy Elizabeth, in New York; two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy (Carl) Badgley and Mrs. Mable (Richard) Carter, both of Portland.
Services Monday, in Mt. Tabor Presbyterian Church.
