L.E. “Jiggs” Jones, 85, of Brownwood, passed away Sept. 5, 2007, at Brownwood Regional Medical Center.
He was born March 1, 1922, in Tahoka, Texas, to L.L. and Luna Jones.
He married Vi Ory on Sept. 5, 1945, in Liberty Hill,Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, L.L. and Luna Jones; two sisters; and four brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007, at Austin Avenue Church of Christ with Bo Shero officiating.
Interment will follow in the Cox Cemetery, McCulloch County.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Davis-Morris Funeral Home.
