Sue Ann Wood, age 64 passed away Saturday evening, April 16, 2016 in the Lufkin Memorial Hospital in Lufkin, Texas.
Sue was born in San Augustine, Texas to William Alton and Bonnie Womack Bolton.
She worked as a checker at Brookshire’s. She was a member of the Yellowpine Baptist Church.
Sue was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and aunt. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband Michael Wood of Hemphill, her son Michael Thomas Wood and wife Nacole of Hemphill, her daughter Amy Whiteside and husband Michael of Hemphill, her brother Larry Bolton and wife Diane of Timpson, Texas, her sisters, Rosie Hopson and husband Robert of San Augustine, Tessie Mae Hightower and husband Ralph of San Augustine and Emily Bjork and husband Dallas of Etoile, Texas, her 11 grandchildren and her numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5~8pm Tuesday, April 19, 2016 in the Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr Street in Hemphill, Texas.
Funeral service will be at 2pm Wednesday, April 20, 2016 in the Starr Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow in Harpers Chapel Cemetery in Sabine County.
