Obituary for Donna Jean Black
Donna Jean Black of Magnolia, Arkansas passed away April 15, 2016 at Magnolia Hospital surrounded by her loving family and friends.
She was born on November 5, 1943 in Gladewater, Texas to the late W. C. "Speck" and Juanita Watson. She was a graduate of Galdewater High School.
Growing up in Gladewater, Texas, she enjoyed dance, water skiing, horseback riding, and was honored to be chosen as Gladewater's Round-Up Rodeo Queen.
Donna is survived by her husband of 54 and 1/2 years, George Black; two children, Spencer Black and his children Sumner, Shuler, and Sinclair; Heather Nelson and daughter, Karsyn Sharp; her great granddaughter, Anistyn Kate and great grandson, Sawyer Lane who were the loves of her life; sister, Marylue Audas and her daughters, Donalyn Smith and Kimberly Audas of Gladewater, Texas and a brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a host of friends and very special friends, Mike and Brenda Love and Martha Smith.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2pm, Monday, April 18, 2016 at First United Methodist Church in Magnolia with a family visitation immediately following the service until 4pm in the Methodist Church Parlor.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Donna's memory may be made to Magnolia Junior Charity League, P.O. Box 1091, Magnolia, Arkansas 71754 or Southern Christian Mission, 515 W. Monroe, Magnolia, Arkansas 71753.
