She was born December 21, 1933 in Ogden, Utah, the daughter of Alice Adams and Pearson A. Ballinger (both deceased).
She graduated from Ogden High School and Utah State University. She studied English Literature, and had a great love for books. She was an avid reader, and also had excellent secretarial skills. She edited many a research paper and theses at the college level. She also loved the French language. Linda had a great love for dogs. She always had a dog for a pet and adored each one.
Linda is survived by her sister, Anne deVries; niece, Diana Hanselman; nephew, Bryan deVries; plus, great nieces and nephews.
