Services for Mrs. Alvina S. Ancelet, 58, of RR Carthage, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, south of Carthage. Burial will be in the Immanuel Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Ancelet died Saturday morning at Burlington Medical Center, Burlington, Iowa. She was born Oct. 26, 1922, in Keokuk, Iowa the daughter of Richard and Mattie Fink Wichman. She married Clarence Ancelet on Oct. 4, 1941. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Michael (Judith) Reese of Ames, Iowa; three sons, Gary of Davingport, Iowa, Richard of Waukeshaw, Wis., and Charles of Norway, Iowa; five grandchildren; mother of Basco; and two sisters, Mrs. Tom (Delores) Vance of Hamilton and Mrs. Leland (Vernetha) Speer of Basco. She was preceded in death by her father.
