Duane Robertson, 80, of Ridgeville Corners, Ohio died Friday, April 15, 2016 at the Henry County Hospital. He was born September 22, 1935 in Tiffin Township, Defiance County, Ohio to the late Leonard & Laura (Erman) Robertson. On July 25, 1954, he married Deloris "Dee" Robertson at the Church of God, Bryan, Ohio and she preceded him in death on September 25, 2015.
Duane was a lifelong farmer and also worked for Zeller Corp., Defiance, Northwestern Electric, Bryan, and ODOT Road Maintenance. He was a member of Henry County Farm Bureau and was a former 4-H advisor for the Ridgeville Go Getters. He attended Pettisville Missionary Church.
He is survived by children, Sharilyn (Scott) Miller of Ridgeville Corners and Michael "Mick" (Dori) Robertson of Defiance, grandchildren, Sheena (Benjamin Frey) Miller-Frey, Shonda Miller, and Jaymie (Chad) Burtch, a special niece, Anastasia Woolace, and four great grandchildren, Graicen & Trey Siler, Brokstyn Burtch, and Titus Frey. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Robertson.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 20 at Pettisville Missionary Church with a meal immediately following. A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. at Evansport Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-8 p.m. at Rodenberger Funeral Home, Napoleon and Wednesday from 10-11 a.m. at the church.
