POST - BAIRD
PRESCOTT, Aug. 16 -- Vows Saturday in the Congregational Church of Prescott united Miss [sic - Mrs] Dorothy Gentry Baird and John Hazen Post, Jr., both of Phoenix.
Parents of the pair are Mrs. Duke Gentry, Prescott, and Mr. and Mrs. Post, Sr., Riverside, Calif.
For the ceremonies the bride wore a street-length gown of pale pink silk faille with blue accessories. Her bouquet was of wite gladioli and French roses.
Miss Jodee Baird, maid of honor, wore a pale blue nylon gown and carried a nosegay of pink rosebuds and blue cornflowers.
Victor Lytle was best man.
After the ceremonies a brunch was held in the home of the bride’s parents.

Post-Baird Wedding Held In Prescott
Honeymooning in Northern Arizona are Mr. and Mrs. John H. Post Jr., and after Sept. 1 they will be at home at 70 E. Mitchell Dr. The bride was the former Mrs. Dorothy Gentry Baird before her marriage Saturday morning.
Nuptials were held in the Prescott Congregational Church, with the Rev. Charles Franklin Parker officiating. Mrs. Duke Gentry, mother of the bride, was hostess at a reception in her Prescott home in honor of the couple.
With her shell pink silk faille dress of street-length, the bride wore navy blue accessories. White gladioli and french roses were her bouquet. Miss Joanne Dee Baird was her mother’s maid of honor. She wore a pale blue nylon dress and her nosegay was of blue cornflowers and pink rosebuds.
Victor H. Lytle of Prescott was the bridegroom’s best man.
Mr. and Mrs. Post Sr. of Riverside, Calif., former Prescott residents, are the parents of the bridegroom. They attended their son’s wedding, as did his sister, Miss Helen Post.
The bride was graduated from the Arizona State College at Tempe, where she was a member of Philomathian society. Mr. Post received his degree from the University of Arizona in Tucson. His fraternity is Phi Gamma Delta.
