Sister Mary Marcella, (Louise Emhoff) was one of 11 children born to August Emhoff & Elizabeth Hilbers Emhoff in Louisville, Kentucky. She entered the Order of Franciscan Sisters on August 15, 1900 at Oldenburg, Indiana. She had many Apostolic Missions in Indiana, Ohio and St. Louis, Mo. She died peacefully with the Crucifix to her lips, "she opened her eyes, said Jesus, Mary and Joseph", then closed her eyes forever to earth. May her Soul, through the Mercy of God, Rest in Peace.
