Shirley Mae Blankenship, seventeen years old, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Loid Blankenship, 414 South Twenty-second street, died Monday night in a local hospital of injuries suffered in a crash between two trucks at the belt highway and Mitchell avenue Sunday night. Four other young persons were injured. Raymond McMillen, eighteen, of Maysville, Mo., driver of one of the trucks, was also injured and taken to the hospital. A warrant charging him with reckless driving was issued. He was arraigned Thursday and will be tried in justice court next Thursday.
