Surviving are two sons: David, Russells Point, and Ernest (Mary), Wilmington, NC; three daughters: Joyce Armstrong, Perrysburg, Ruth Armstrong, Shawnee, and Denise Armstrong, Lima; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and
his friend, Sandy Wilkins, Wapak.
Deceased are a son linked below; and a brother and five sisters.
Retired from the Ford Motor Company, Lima Engine Plant, he was a veteran of the U.S. Marines, and served during the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion Post #330, he enjoyed spending time in his garden and tinkering.
